Dr. Martha Jo Atkins wishes we didn’t make dying so complicated.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Coach, and author, Dr. Atkins teaches about dying and grief with gentleness and humor. For 30 years, she has worked with people at end-of-life and the ones who love them. She is the author of the book Signpost Of Dying, and her TEDx talk on this subject has more than a million views.
Offering in-person and online education and retreats to individuals and groups, Dr. Atkins helps people around the world learn about dying and how the experience of caring for a dying loved one can be connective, rich, peaceful and, above all, full of Love. — Yes, please…and how amazing is that?!
Martha Jo not only has one of the most fascinating careers and is creating invaluable work in the world, she also has the most kind, genuine heart.
Today, we’ll be talking about extraordinary experiences at end of life and the language of dying and how to create less fear around death. Martha Jo has some fascinating stories and research to share with us, her work is truly educational and inspiring and she’s got a fantastic sense of humor to go right along with it
